Is There a Place for the Part Time Real Estate Agent?
During the economic downturn a lot of real estate agents kept their licenses but went out and got second jobs to supplement income. But, now that the real estate market is seeing healthy numbers again in most markets, are agents continuing to view their real estate business as a part time gig?
The reality is that today, more than ever before, agents have access to technology tools and systems which make it easier to run their businesses in a fraction of the time it used to take. This article on Inman.com references a couple different examples of tactics “part time” agents are implementing to maintain a successful real estate business and (separate) second jobs.
We think this begs two questions though…1. what defines “success” to real estate agents today and 2. do you have the right technology and tools at your fingertips to run your business remotely and on-the-go?
