Home Buyers Today Use Mobile
Today’s home buying consumer is using mobile technology more readily than ever before. So, this begs the question…how well is the real estate industry meeting the mobile real estate needs of today’s consumers? While there are some companies in the real estate space who are very effectively implementing a mobile strategy, what we generally find is that many people (and companies) just don’t know where to start. What’s most important when you are evaluating the type of mobile initiative to launch for your company? Well, here are three basic questions you need to answer in advance to help you establish and implement an effective mobile technology strategy:
1. Whose needs are you trying to meet? (I.e.: consumers, agents, brokers, lenders, all of them?)
2. What is the outcome you want to see from your mobile strategy? (I.e.: quality leads, buyer information, effective lead routing, additional online traffic to your listings, etc.)
3. How can your mobile technology strategy work hand-in-hand with your other existing technology platforms (whether they might be internal or external systems)?
